When machinery is unavailable for use, the resulting downtime can start a domino effect throughout the plant. CamKay, is the company to call when you need your plant back up and running. We were called on to do just that when a leading auto maker had problems in some of their plants throughout the U.S. We developed a working relationship with this client and were able to assist them with their day to day manufacturing issues.

Assembly plants in Shreveport, LA and Wentzville, MO had issues that needed to be corrected. For both facilities we were able to prevent a major shutdown of the body shop and assembly plant by stabilizing the machinery and planning a quick resolution of the problems. In Shreveport, the 6500 ton stamping press that was equipped with Allen Bradley PLC 5s and 1394 motion controllers went down. Once we arrived, we diagnosed the problem and got the machine back online.

In Wentzville, the problems came from the feeder drive equipped with an Allen Bradley 1336 force drive. After resolving the problems, we generated a report of the problem and resolution.
